Drainage
Effective drainage is the backbone to every site. Here's a look at the different systems I've set out and worked on.

Pumping Station in Weston-super-mare
Beginnings of our dig for a 9m deep pumping station. Had to plan a multi stage dig to allow the excavator to reach the bottom. One of the very few times I worked on a dig where it was below sea level. Water management was certainly an interesting challenge.

Double drainage sump in Rugby
Accurate line and level was important here as each manhole was few and far between.

Checking the invert level of a long foul run between manholes
Frequent monitoring of drainage is key to ensure the line is not veering off track and is being laid to the correct grade.

Installation of 60m long culvert
This culvert had to be installed to feed one swale to the next. The whole project was 1km long! Level checks were important here as the fall from one field to the next was marginal to say the least!

Installation of an Attenuation Tank
Getting the initial dig and blinding level right is critical to avoid the crates being installed too high or too low causing unwanted clashes further along the build.

Installation of a Foul Treatment Tank
Accurate setting was important to get the foundation of this tank right as I had to work backwards from the invert level of the inlet + outlet and ensure when the concrete was placed that the invert levels matched that of the design levels
