North Devon District Hospital
In January '26 to August '26 Insite worked with Penny's Construction and Bam Construction during Phase 1 building staff accommodation for the North Devon District Hospital
Tasks involved project management, setting out external and internal drainage, foundations, profiles, topographical surveys for cut & fill analysis and monthly drone surveys.
Not only did the monthly drone surveys come in handy as a progress tracker, the photomosaics could be overlaid with site plans and would help identify issues on site otherwise not seen until too late. Great for seeing if materials were in the way, or clashes of structures.
Working with PCE Ltd's drawings, we had to precisely set out 240+ starter bars in the mesh to adhere to the tight tolerances.
Once the slab was poured, a survey of the slab and starter bars was carried out to identify any issues post-pour.
No issues were identified. Overall, a job well done.
